My Solar Power Installation

Here are a couple of pictures of my 1.710 kW Solar installation.

My inverter mounted in my garage and the Evarsolar PMU data logging unit.

My Solar panels. 9 X 190W for 1710W

It is not the right way to go about it, but there is enough room on the roof to install a second array of 9 X 190W panels for another 1710 Watts raising the capacity to 3420W. I’ll probably do this when I’ve recovered from the cost of the initial installation. Rather than removing my current inverter, I plan on adding another TL1500AS inverter and have two distinct systems. The PMU can handle multiple inverters so data logging each system will be easy too. Ideally I should have just fitted a 3kW system in the 1st place, but money is tight and the labour for the 2nd install will be free as I don’t charge myself to do my own work.
