Gorge Walk 18 July 2010
Werribee Gorge Short Circuit walk on the 18th July 2010.
The screen shot shows we took an hour and thirtyfive minutes to do 6.69km at an average speed of 4.2km/h. I’ve put the elevation changes graph up too.
You can click the satellite view for a better idea of the gully we started following and then doubled back to stay on the correct path.
Here’s some of Allison’s wrist GPS data:

The second hill was actually steeper than the first? I thought it was the other way around. How did you pull up? I had mild soreness in my glutes and soleus, just a gentle reminder that I’d been hiking.
Looks like the 1st is steeper to me, just shorter?
I pulled up ok. I was a bit sore on the couch on Sunday arvo, but not too bad on monday morning. Shins and calves were a little sore. My ankle was ok, I couldn’t have rolled it too badly as it wasn’t bruised at all.
