1st June 2011 output

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 Data No Comments

Using the Solmetric data and punching it into the CEC spreadsheet, June is the worst month of the year for solar generation. The following is my generation for the 1st day of June 2011 and it was a cloud free day..

Punching in me details into the CEC spreadsheet shows the worst month of the year being June with an average daily output of 3.3kWh / day with my specifications.

Looking at my PMU output for a nice cloud free June day (June 1st) I see I generated 5.85kWh. It’s only going to get worse before it gets better. At around the 21st June when the Earth is at its furtherest point from the Sun (our winter Solstice) I guess my results will be the worst. But for now it’s not too bad on a cloud free day. I’m just waiting for my 9.3kWh average in January 🙂
